Brief Biography Dr. Killeen received his M.D. from the National University of Ireland in 1983 and his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1990. He took Residency and Fellowship training in Clinical and Chemical Pathology at the University of Minnesota from 1985-1991. Dr. Killeen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Clinical and Chemical Pathology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Genetics in Clinical Molecular Genetics. He is a founding member of the Association for Molecular Pathology, and is currently Chairman of the Molecular Pathology Division of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Killeen has been a Faculty member at the University of Michigan since 1993.
Clinical Interests Chemical Pathology and Molecular Diagnostics.
Research Interests Dr. Killeen's primary research interest is in the genetics of congenital adrenal hyperplasia due to steroid 21-hydroxylase deficiency.
