Brief Biography

Dr. Paulino earned both his undergraduate degree and M.D. from the University of the Philippines in 1988 and 1991, respectively. He took his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, from 1992-1996, where he was Chief Resident in his final year there. Two Fellowship years followed, one Fellowship in Oncologic Pathology from 1996-1997 and another in Head and Neck Pathology from 1997-1998, both at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York.

Dr. Paulino joined the Faculty of the Department of Pathology at the University of Michigan as an Assistant Professor in 1998. His clinical and research interests deal with squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, salivary gland neoplasms, and bone of the soft tissue sarcomas.
