True to its theme, this exciting two-day conference addresses topics related to cutting edge technology, techniques, advances, and current controversies in the field of forensic medicine and pathology. Participants will understand and be able to implement:
  • Identification of water-related and asphyxial deaths
  • Pitfalls of crime scene investigations
  • The process of evidence collection in sexual assault victims
  • The medical/legal issues of fetal deaths
  • Identifying victims of torture
  • New international Red Cross guidelines on deaths in custody
  • Identification of the deceased during the first 48 hours
