Thomas V. Colby, MD, Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at The Mayo Clinic, is an alumnus of the University of Michigan. An expert in the field of Pulmonary and Surgical Pathology, he will provide the A. James French Lecture.

Steven R. Ramsburgh MD, Assistant Professor, is the current President of the A. James French Society of Pathologiests with expertise in the area of general and surgical pathology.

Henry D. Appleman, MD, M.R. Abell Professor in Surgical Pathology is widely recognized for his expertise in the subspecialty of gastrointestinal pathology.  
Arul Chinnaiyan, MD, PhD, S.P. Hicks Professor of Pathology, Professor of Urology and Co-Director of the Division of Informatics, is an expert in the area of clinical genomics, proteomics and prostate and breast cancer profiling.
