A. James French Lecturer

John Goldblum, M.D., is the Chair of the Department of Anatomic Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Goldblum specializes in the interpretation of biopsy and resection specimens in the fields of soft tissue and gastrointestinal pathology.

Jeffrey L. Myers, M.D., A. James French Professor and Director, Anatomic Pathology is an expert in diagnostic pathology and pulmonary pathology with specialized interest in the area of patient safety and practice innovation.  
Daniel Visscher, M.D., Professor and Director of Surgical Pathology has expertise in general surgical and breast pathology.  

Plenary Lecturers

Thomas J. Giordano, M.D., Ph.D., is a Professor of Pathology and Internal Medicine and Director of the University of Michigan Cancer Center Tissue Core. His area of expertise is endocrine and molecular pathology and his research is focused in the area of gene expression profiling and molecular diagnostics, molecular classification of human cancers, endocrine neoplasia and thyroid carcinoma.  
Jay L. Hess, M.D., Ph.D., is the Carl V. Weller Endowed Professor and Chair of the Department of Pathology. His area of expertise is hematopathology, specifically leukemia, lymphoma and molecular genetics. Dr. Hess' research program is focused on the area of mechanisms of Hox gene regulation by the mixed lineage leukemia protein, MLL, transcriptional deregulation by MLL fusion proteins, role of Hox genes in hematopoiesis and leukemia.
