lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, myelodysplasia, and acute leukemia.

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia,
lymphoma, myelodysplasia, optimizing automated hematology, immunophenotyping,
and flow cytometry.
Brief Biography
Dr. Finn
received both his undergraduate degree and M.D. from the University
of Michigan in 1985 and 1989, respectively. He completed residency
training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Northwestern University,
and also received subspecialty training in Hematopathology at Northwestern.
He remained at Northwestern as an Assistant Professor until January
1998, when he joined the Department of Pathology at the University of
Michigan. From 1995-1998, Dr. Finn was the Director of the Thorson-Goodall
Molecular Oncology Laboratory at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
In March 2001, Dr. Finn was appointed Director of Hematopathology at
the University of Michigan. In 2002, Dr. Finn assumed the position of
Associate Director, Clinical Pathology Laboratories.
Dr.
Finn is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and
Clinical Pathology, and is also certified by the ABP in Hematologic
Pathology. He is active in all aspects of diagnostic hematopathology.
His research interests have focused mainly upon the biologic
diversity of chronic lymphocytic leukemia and other chronic lymphoproliferative
disorders. |
