Administrative supplements are available from the NIH to support additional resources under existing funded proposals. The summer support program would be an excellent opportunity to support additional lab help personnel. Some institutes have very specific requirements of the application and allowable costs. Similarly, the administrative supplements vary by institute and range from specific programs to purchase equipment under $100,000 to funds available for postdoc salaries and supplies. we have added to the UMHS ARRA website the list of institute deadlines and direct links to the administrative supplement information.
