FIRST STEPS:  VISIT GRANTS.GOV

1. Downloading PureEdge Viewer to your desktop
1. Go to Grants.gov
2. Click on Apply for Grants on left side of page
3. Click on the blue PureEdge link you see in the body of the page
4. Save to desktop
5. Go to desktop and click on icon to install application

• Downloading correct application
• Go to Grants.gov
• Click on Quick Links:  Grant Search on right side of page
• Enter Funding Opportunity number
• Choose the corresponding grant from the list if there is one and click on it
• Scroll down to where you see the link under the headline “Link to Full Announcement” and click on it
• Print this information; it is your instruction packet for your particular grant (about 20 pages)
• Look for the button (near the top) that says “apply for grant electronically” and click on it
• Click download
• Click on #2 ‘Download Application Package”.  Application will open.  Save to desktop
• Application Icon will now be on your desktop. It will open your grant package in your PureEdge viewer automatically.
• Double check to make sure you have the right one by verifying the Opportunity Title and Opportunity Numbers etc. on the top
