Brief Biography
Originally from Japan, completed Ph.D. in Dr. Toshifumi Hibi's lab at Keio University, Tokyo, Japan worked on the role of the gut microbiota and intestinal macrophages in the pathogenesis of Crohn's disease.  Currrently, working on Post-doctoral Fellowship in Dr. Gabriel Nunez's lab where I am working on the role of the gut microbiota and innate immune sensing in regulation of enteric pathogen infection.
