Match Day 2024! Welcome our new class of Residents

By Anastazia Hartman | March 15

Today is Match Day and we are excited to share our new Resident Class. The class of 2028 will be joining us this July to begin their residency training, where they will work alongside faculty and staff who will support them throughout their four years at the University of Michigan.

The Match process starts during a medical student's final year of medical school. These trainees interview with residency programs across the country and rank them in order of where they would like to learn and spend the next four years of their careers. Just as trainees rank programs, programs rank interviewees who they feel best fit each open residency spot.
