By Elizabeth Walker | October 29 2018

9:30 am - 11:00 am | Medical Science Builiding II
West Lecture Hall (Room 3697)

Have you seen this recent publication in Molecular Cell, Cultivating the Human Dimension of Research, where scientific leaders identified “relationships” as the #1 key to success? How does one cultivate and sustain such relationships?

We invite you to explore the research and practice behind ways to exert influence to build healthy and productive relationships in this highly interactive, two-part workshop presented by Dr. David Sweetman. Topics covered in these workshops include exploring a variety of power and influence dynamics and techniques, having difficult conversations, resolving conflict, and understanding the impact of values we each individually bring to the workplace.

By the end of this workshop, you will be equipped with the skills and understanding in the above areas to be a successful emerging scholar.
