Department ART Competition

We are pleased to announce our third annual Pathology Department Art Competition to showcase the creative talents of our Pathology employees!

The theme this year is "The Power of Process: Document your journey of pathology improvement through art."

This year’s theme invites our department members to explore the many processes that shape and improve the work of pathology—from specimen to diagnosis, from uncertainty to understanding, and from individual effort to team-based care. Participants are encouraged to interpret the theme creatively and represent the unique aspects of pathology and their lab work in their art. Submissions may reflect personal experiences, workflow journeys, collaboration, problem-solving, growth, or transformation within the laboratory.

This year’s installation is dedicated to the memory of Regina Ferguson, in recognition of her support and the important role she played in helping bring this program and its artwork to life. The exhibit will serve as a tribute to her contributions to the process and progress of our department.

Please register for the Pathology Department Art Competition here.

Benefits of Creating Art:

  • Building community efforts by allowing anyone who works within the department to participate.
  • Increasing employee well-being through creating art and appreciating the artwork done by others.
  • Creating an outlet to share and explore faculty, learners, and staff creativity and share it with others.
