We offer sincere congratulations to Dr. Kojo S. J. Elenitoba-Johnson upon his investiture as the Inaugural Henry Clay Bryant Professor in Pathology. This endowed professorship is designed to support and recognize excellence in translational research within the Department of Pathology. Surrounded by his family and many friends (including several from high school in Nigeria) and wearing his father's robes, Dr. Elenitoba-Johnson delivered an eloquent acceptance speech where he shared his success with the brains of the operation, his wife and colleague, Dr. Megan Lim. He credited his father with teaching him to "stand tall" in all life's endeavors and to "speak as if he had something to say." Clearly he has done both.
