What is Lab Week?

Medical Laboratory Professionals Week originated in 1975 as a national event in order to raise public awareness, understanding and appreciation of the impact that laboratories play in a patient’s diagnosis and care. The week also strives to help the public understand the quality and professional accountability that clinical laboratories have relating to the patient. Laboratorians play a vital role as a member of the health care team. This is also a moment for laboratory staff to be recognized for their contributions to patient care while having fun with their coworkers. "On The Right Path(ology)" Video Our video stars YOU - our labs! The concept was to showcase the labs in a classic early-90s TV intro in all its cheesy-ness. This video was also submitted to a nationwide video contest and the winner will be announced April 21st! The winner receives a prize, so we're hoping to receive your help, and your VOTE, to guarantee our win! |

Sign up to receive your very own trading card, with picture and stats! On April 25th, all labs will participate in our Trading Day. Each member that signs up for a card will receive a packet of cards, but you may not receive your own--you'll have to trade with others to find it. But you must sign up for your card between April 1st - April 19th, 2017. After April 19th, the sign-up form will no longer be available. Make sure you sign up today!
