Michigan Section of AACC and ASCLS Collaborate to Improve Educational Opportunities for Laboratory Professionals

By Elizabeth Walker | September 14 2017

To help improve continuing education opportunities available to laboratory medicine professionals, Michigan Section leadership members from the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) and the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) have worked together to plan a joint continuing education event.

By collaborating and working together to plan regional meetings, the committees hope to strengthen and broaden the program offerings to appeal to a wider audience and improve networking opportunities for AACC, ASCLS members, and other laboratory professionals.

Meeting presentations are focused on molecular laboratory developed test (LDT) validation and clinical case studies relevant to laboratory medicine.

You do not need to be an ASCLS or AACC member to attend this event which will also offer a delectable dinner prepared by the Schoolcraft Culinary School and a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded professionals in the Southeast Michigan area.
