Pathology Flow Cytometry Core Laboratory

Flow data files (FCS files) are saved on the respective computer hard disk.  Data left on the hard disk of either cytometer for more than six months is subject to deletion during periodic data "cleanups."  All users are strongly encouraged to keep copies of their data on their own lab computers.  For data transfer, users may bring flash drives but may also use cloud-based storage methods such as M+BOX to transfer flow data for later access.

Data analysis is done at the user's home laboratory.  I am happy to assist in limited fashion; software assistance is only available for the FACSDiva and NovoExpress software packages. General flow analysis techniques are, however, applicable across programs and can be taught.  Common third-party flow analysis programs include FlowJo, Kaluza, and Weasel.
