The textbook, Atlas of Non-Gynecologic Cytology, has been released as part of the Atlas of Anatomic Pathology series. The book was edited by U-M’s Associate Professor of Pathology, Xin Jing, MD, as well as Weill Cornell’s Momin T. Siddiqui, and John Hopkins’ Qing Kay Li, who served as the senior editor.  Dr. Jing specializes in breast pathology and cytopathology and is the director of the U-M cytopathology fellowship. In addition to co-editing the book, she contributed the chapter, “Thyroid Fine Needle Aspiration.” Several other U-M Department of Pathology faculty members wrote chapters as well. Assistant Professor of Cytopathology, Madelyn Lew, MD, contributed the chapter “Urine Cytology.” Director of Cytopathology, Judy Pang, MD, and Assistant Professor of Breast, Gynecologic, and Surgical Pathology, Andrew Sciallis, MD, co-wrote “Pancreaticobiliary Tract Cytology.” The atlas is available from Springer International Publishing.
